What is REPORTiT ? |

REPORTiT is an easy to use student reporting tool you can use online or offline to produce fabulous looking student reports. REPORTiT has been designed from the ground up to be totally flexible to accommodate the varying staff needs, reporting terminology and community expectations of your school.

Design your own student reports |

REPORTiT offers total flexibility to design a report layout that suits your needs. You specify the KLA areas and what you want to call them. Determine the order in which they will display and the spacing between them. Into COGS? Then you might want to report on English, Mathematics and the current theme unit.
Choose a cover design from the library of designs available.
Turn on/off these options:
* Achievement scales (or choose instead to display an achievement descriptor word, or show nothing)
* Effort Scales (or choose to display an Effort descriptor word)
* Strand effort ratings
* General Comment
* Absence Comment
* Self Evaluation Comment
* Partial absences
* Other programs offered by the school

Simple data entry for teachers |

With REPORTiT your teachers will have a choice of how they enter their student results. They can choose to work online or take their work offline to a flash drive (thumb drive) and work independent of the internet until they are ready to upload their file back into REPORTiT. Teachers can work on a class list or on an individual student and at any time, with the click of a button, they can review a full report for any student.

In designing REPORTiT we have been particularly mindful of the varying technological skill levels of teachers. Navigation around REPORTiT has been centralised to one menu so teachers can access everything they need from the one place.
Teachers can also save a copy of their work to their flash drive at any time so they always have a 'local' copy of their student results and comments.

If you prefer to work on one student at a time REPORTiT offers a dynamic, one page data entry form displaying all results for a selected student. Click on a tab to change to another KLA instantly

Work online or offline - Beat the Portal!!! |
|
|
REPORTiT offers you the best of both worlds - work online OR offline - it's your choice!
Work Online - work directly in REPORTiT and access the many built-in support features.
Work Offline - REPORTiT can create a multi-tabbed Excel spreadsheet you can use offline to enter student results and comments. The spreadsheet reflects exactly the choices and report layout planned for your class. Each KLA has its own tabbed page displaying a class list and columns for the results and comments required.
When you are ready, REPORTiT uploads your file and updates the REPORTiT database with your work. You can download and upload several times during the process - REPORTiT will synchronise with the online database and ensure the spreadsheet displays your work entered so far.

Comment Starters Galore |

Comment starters come in 3 forms:
NSW Foundation Statements - customised to the child and KLA you are working on;
Generic comments - colour coded for Outstanding/High, Sound, Basic/Limited performance and fully customised to the child you are working on; and
School Based Comments - build up a school databank of comments by grade/stage and/or enter your own favourite set of comments. Using our simple coding, each comment will be available fully customised by student name, grade and stage.

Catering for Specialist Teachers |

Specialist and Remedial teachers are well catered for. In REPORTiT, class teachers assign their students to specialist teachers so that when a specialist teacher logs in they have their own set of students to report on.
If, in your school, specialist teachers report separately to the class teacher then REPORTiT will produce a separate page of Specialist Teacher comments as an insert to the Student Report.
Specialist teachers have full access to the support features in REPORTiT. They can work online or offline and can access the Comment Starters. They could also develop their own bank of specialist comments using the Schools' Comments feature.

REPORTiT supports both Apple Mac and PC platforms. In fact, the technology used to build and support REPORTiT is right at the forefront of today's technological standards. Your school data is housed securely in an industrial strength database that is backed up daily throughout the year.
REPORTiT also utilises many of the newest features available to cutting edge websites on the internet:
- dynamic PDF generation of student reports
- flash forms and menus
- dynamic creation of Excel spreadsheets that can be downloaded and uploaded
- personal user databases
- online, real-time document design.

Investing in REPORTiT |

We believe your investment in REPORTiT will save your staff significant time in the development of student report formats and in the entry of student results and comments.
REPORTiT is available on an annual lease. For Primary schools: there are annual fees of $500 for set up and $30 per class. (prices do not include GST)
For High Schools: there are annual fees of $500 for set up and $1 per student. (prices do not include GST)
Including student photographs on the report incurs an additional fee of $10 per class.
